The Cernon valley welcomes you for an excursion around the Templar and Hospitaller Commandery of Sainte-Eulalie de Cernon. A paceful immersion in a green valley, punctuated by the murmuring of the stream, with the backdrop of the ramparts and roofs of the medieval city, an architectural jewel.


Description

From the car park, reach the place of the fountain, in the heart of the village.

  1. From the village square, take the covered lane at the right of the church. Turn right and ride along the ramparts. At the end of the street, turn left towards the Reptilarium, let it on your right and go up the street “Rue de Milasse” to the main road (D77).
  2. Turn left towards La Cavalerie.
  3. After 500m, take the track on the right. After the farm, continue straight ahead in direction of “Espace nature Ladoux”, then take the path on the right along the stream.
  4. Go down to Sainte-Eulalie and enter into the ramparts by the main gate.
